Eat, drink and be scary. ~Author unknown Halloween was magical in the small town in Upstate New York where I grew up. The cool, wet evenings, the fall leaves with their riot of color. The whole town of 375 got involved in the festival. The seniors in high school would pull some prank every year, like a carved pumpkin head on the Civil War Statue. Every house had its lights on and a bowl full of treats to hand out.
