Snacking is taken to a whole new level when the Big Game rolls around every year. The average armchair quarterback will consume 1,200 calories and 50 grams of fat just from snacking, says the Calorie Control Council (CCC). And the researchers at the Snack Food Association reports that Americans will eat 30 million pounds of snacks on game day. That’s a whole lot of chips and dip! Shorty’s Corner! The Cold Weather Edition!

Wowie, it was cold last week! As you may have already heard, our farm partners in California and Arizona got hit with a cold blast of arctic air. Our farmer friends are still addressing the damage caused by the frigid temps and updating us on any crop damage. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that in the coming week, you might not see the abundant options you’ve come to expect from Door to Door Organics.
