Corn in Ball Jar

Mark Fischer’s passion for milling runs deep in his blood. His grandfather, Henry, was a miller in Erlbach, Germany, before emigrating to Philadelphia in 1920. In 1940, Henry purchased a post-and-beam mill in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, that dated back to 1730. He named it Castle Valley Mill, a name that comes with a story all its own and dates back just as far. Thomas Meredith Jr had a dream to build a castle on the banks of the Neshaminy in order to break an evil spell. The castle was built, but we’re not sure about the spell.
