York, Pennsylvania, was once referred to in a famous ’90s song by the band Live as a not-so-nice-place to live. However, things have changed drastically since the post-grunge scene collapsed and the local food movement sprung up in its place. The streets of downtown York are now lined with hip coffee roasters and cafés, the Central Market of York continues to be a solid cornerstone in the revitalization process, and family-owned shops like Nuts About Granola are popping up left and right.
