Why Clean-Farmed Tilapia Tops the Rest

Clean Tilapia

In the past, you may have been leery about eating farmed tilapia. This white fish has traditionally been a bad-for-the-planet food choice. But aquaculture conditions are improving all over the globe and there are now reputable tilapia operations that raise their fish in clean, roomy tanks; avoid antibiotics; feed them high-quality diets; and don’t do damage to the environment. It’s important to know where your fish comes from, so that’s why we’re introducing you to our partner Quixotic Farming, who raises tilapia sustainably on farms in Colorado and Missouri.
